Fun Fly 2007 to Benefit Special Olympics
The Fun Fly 2007 to benefit Special Olympics, held on August 4th, 2007, was awesome! The weather was excellent and, as always, we had a super turn out of great planes with some especially large aircraft in attendance. Of course the best thing is the money raised for the Special Olympics - Ozaukee County. To date we have donated over $80,000 to the Ozaukee County Special Olympics. Hope to see you next year!
For a taste of what the Fun Fly event was like See pictures from the AstroWings Fun Fly for Special Olympics 2006 event. It was a great day of flying at the AstroWings field! We had a lot planes and most every kind of RC plane you can imagine was there.

Guys, I had a blast at this event not withstanding the gimp ankle that made getting around a bit tough.
I will have a large gallery of photos to post soon. Gotta sort through over 400!

I thought that the event went well. The ladies running the food tent ran it as well as any short order restaurant I’ve been at. Everyone really pitched in and made it a good time. It helps that I walked away with plenty of pilot’s raffle prizes too

Unfortunately this great looking Happy Hobby airplane was badly damaged the
next weekend at the Flying Electrons Charity FlyIn. (bad crash)
