 One of the key benefits to the community from AstroWings is the annual Fun Fly. Not only do local residents get to see a great air show (upwards of 3,000 people have attended some of our events) but the proceeds from the past air shows have gone to the Ozaukee County Special Olympics. To date the AstroWings club has donated over $80,000 to this worthwhile organization.

This year the Astrowings will be partnering with local Boyscout troops to  host the annual Fun Fly.  Every year the Boyscouts have been a tremendous help by managing the parking for our event.  In 2009 the club has wanted to recognize their hard work and partner with them.  We will be donating a portion of the Fun Fly proceeds to them.  We are also working with the local troops to hold RC flying instruction in order to provide merit badges in aviation.
